Jason began his career working for the prominent criminal defense firm of Tacopina & Seigel, P.C. He gained court experience early in his career often assisting the firm’s partners in the preparation of matters for their high-profile clientele. As a member of the firm’s trial team, he handled a wide array of criminal and civil trial work in both the State and Federal Court systems.
In 2016, Jason partnered with Frank Salzano, to form Salzano & Lampert, LLP. As a result, Jason began to transition his practice to advising the firm’s sports and entertainment clientele in connection with a wider array of legal issues. Jason routinely assists with protecting his clients’ “brands” by providing legal advice, as well as litigating intellectual property issues and commercial disputes in both the courtroom and through alternative dispute resolution forums like mediation and arbitration.
In addition to litigating civil matters, Jason also assists clients with navigating through state and federal criminal investigations and defending his clients’ rights against criminal charges.
Jason has also been a certified National Football League contract advisor since 2011 and has helped his clients with the negotiation of their NFL player contracts and marketing/endorsement opportunities.
Jason is admitted to practice in the state of New York and New Jersey, and the federal courts in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He received his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Indiana University-Bloomington.
